Our outdoor Gong Immersion was so successful that we are bringing it indoors so that we can enjoy the power of this event regardless of weather. The location is very spacious and many Covid precautions will be implemented.
Join Roger and and four other gong players (
Ruby Koa,
Ashley Fullenwider,
Rachel Santa Olalla, and
Kristine Allen) for an opportunity to experience the ancient therapeutic sound of the mighty gongs that your body, mind, and spirit will really appreciate!
While everyone has their own unique experience with sound energy, many have found it to open pathways to relax, quiet their mind, balance energy, meditate, release emotional tension, retune internal systems, have a spiritual experience, heal themselves, inspire creativity, or feel a deep sense of peace. Our innate intelligence appears to use gong sound energy to promote well-being within.
Simply lie back and let the transformative sound of the (more than 15) gongs meet you where you are and take you where you need to go! This will be a wonderful way to tune into the high frequency of thankfulness and appreciation and send out some light to the world.
We'll begin with a short introduction to the session and gongs, some brief centering or breathwork and gentle yoga and movement, followed by at least 60 minutes of gong sound immersion.
The sound immersion is usually experienced lying down on your back or a similar comfortable position. Please bring whatever you need to be warm and comfortable - yoga mat and/or camping or Pilates mat, blankets or sleeping bag, pillow, cushion for under the knees, water, eye covering, etc.
Covid Precautions: For safety during Covid times I chose Presence studio as the venue because it is a very large space (plus it's sweet that it's across the street from where my studio used to be). We'll easily be able to spread out 6 feet apart. Please wear a face mask and preferably send a picture of your vaccine card at the time of registration to
[email protected] (the email will be deleted after for privacy reasons) or email to confirm that you can show your card or a picture of your card at the door. Negative Covid tests received within 72 hours of the event will also be accepted. There are also two air filters running and there will be some open windows for air flow. If you’re showing symptoms of illness, contact Ruby asap so she can refund your ticket and find someone else to take your spot.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early so we can start on time and so there's not too much crowding as people set up.
About RogerRoger Tjoelker, founder of Transformative Sound LLC, is a professional gong player based in Seattle, Washington. Formerly a corporate CFO and CIO, he first heard the gong played well at a Transformational Breath® Seminar and instantly knew that he had to learn to play and bring this amazing sound energy to others. He now offers Gong Sound Immersion group events and individual sessions in the Seattle area, and occasionally tours the west coast. Roger uses several gongs and a variety of mallets to provide a full spectrum of transformative sound energy. “Gongs have opened up new worlds for me to explore and have transformed my life beyond imagination. They've become part of my spiritual journey. I find that creating sound energy with Gongs is a wonderful way to promote and enhance the well-being of all.”
