This one hour private session can be with the instructor of your choosing and can include whatever yoga style, modality or specialty that instructor works with.
For instance, you could work with the instructor on creating a home yoga practice, on how to better support an injury in class, or to go over the basics more thoroughly than a regular class would allow.
Certain instructors can also offer sound healing sessions with the gong, Tibetan bowls, crystal bowls, etc.
Once you have scheduled a session, please send a detailed email about what you would like to cover in the session. Please explain any injuries or sore areas and what your goals are for the sessions. If you'd like help in designing a home practice, give detail to how long you'd like this to be. You're more than welcome to video all or part of the session so you can practice with the video if you'd like.
Here's a list of what the studio owner, Ruby Koa offers:
Yoga
Just want to see if you're doing something right, or want to come up with a regular practice for whatever reason or to help support a certain issue? I can help you find a sequence and we can do it together to make sure it works for you.
Sound Healing
I work with crystal and Tibatan Singing bowls and a symphonic gong either online or in person to bring deep relaxation, move energetic blocks and more.
Meditation
It's really recommended in Kundalini Yoga to pick a specific meditation, breath practice, or yoga sequence to do for at least 40 days in a row. This is enough time to break an old habit and start a new one. I can help you pick one that's right for you and give you tips on how to be successful.
Clarity through Tarot/Oracle Cards
Tarot and/or oracle cards can be a wonderful way to get access to your own guidance and intuition.
With a clear intention or question, I could work with you through the cards (there are various card layouts for different situations) or I could teach you how to work with a pendulum or how to get your own answers through writing.
Energy Work
I have training in Reiki and also practice a technique called Sat Nam Rassayan which are both basically techniques which use the meditative presence of the practitioner to create a space which allows the natural healing processes of the body to take place.
I really want this time with you to benefit you in the best way possible so I'm open to your ideas of how the above would best benefit you, whether it is through one of the above focuses or a combination of them.
