Guided Breathing & Relaxation for Fall Transition (20 min.)

This is from Ruby Koa's 9/16/24 Morning Peace Meditation. Though we're specifically focusing on cultivating grounding for the transition from the summer to fall season, this guided breathing/relaxation can be practiced anytime you're needing a deeper sense of grounding and being in your body.

First, decided whether you'd like to practice this meditation seated or lying down. You can choose to join in the opening Oms or just listen.

The first half of this practice will support you in focusing on and deepening your breath. In the second half, similar to yoga nidra, you'll be encouraged to stay connected to your breath as you move your awareness systematically from head to toe to consciously relax your whole body, thus calming your nervous system.

You'll be invited to reflect on your summer season and an intention that can help you transition into autumn.
