Move, Breathe, Boost Your Immune System, & Meditate!

This is from Ruby's 10.24.22 Morning Peace Meditation. We'll center, do about five different repetitive movements to warm & wake up, and then practice a Kundalini Yoga breath meditation. It's called Immune System Booster: The Inner Sun. It's basically breath of fire through the left nostril with a particular mudra held.

Our immune system is greatly affected by our mental and emotional states. This meditation works on the right hemisphere of the brain which stores many of the negative emotions that lead to depression and to a lower functioning immune system. It also stimulates the sympathetic nervous system and the right hemisphere to readjust. In this process, you may go through various emotions as the glands start to shift their balance. Once you get through the emotional inertia, you will feel light, energized, and hopeful. (excerpt taken from KRI Level 1 Instructor Yoga Manual).
