Intro Mini Workshop: Self-Compassion Series for Positive Change on “Improving Your Self-Image by Loving Your Body.”

Ruby Koa and Cathy Herford presented this session on 1.6.22 as a preview for their Self-Compassion Series for Positive Change starting Jan. 13th. So often our new year's resolutions are around health or improving our physical body in some way. The reason these often fail is because underneath them is often an unforgiving inner critic. When we can soften this into a kinder, more compassionate voice, we remember that we are so much more than our image and that it's really about our inner beauty and wisdom. When we can start to appreciate our bodies and ourselves, any improvements we are wanting to make will come easier and we’ll naturally start to feel better.
This session includes a writing exercise, a little bit of intuitive movement and yoga, and a Compassionate Body Scan Meditation while Cathy sends restorative Reiki energy.
