Class length
90 minutes

Launch into Fall surrounded by Gongs!
Join Roger and and at least three other gong players (Ruby Koa, Ashley Fullenwider, and Rachel Santa Olalla) for an opportunity to experience the ancient therapeutic sound of the mighty gongs that your body, mind, and spirit will really appreciate!  It can open pathways to relax, quiet your mind, balance energy, meditate, release emotional tension, have a spiritual experience, feel better, or just fall asleep. Simply lie back and let the transformative sound of the (more than 10) gongs meet you where you are and  take you where you need to go! What an amazing way to mark the change of seasons!

We'll begin with a short introduction to the session and gongs, some brief centering or breathwork and gentle yoga and movement, followed by at least 60 minutes of gong sound immersion.

The sound immersion is usually experienced lying down on your back or a similar comfortable position. Please bring whatever you need to be warm and comfortable - yoga mat, blankets or sleeping bag, pillow, cushion for under the knees, water, eye covering, etc. Also plan to wear warm, layered clothing as the temperature will likely get cooler by the end of the event.

Though this is an outside event, you are welcome to wear a mask until you are settled on your mat. We’ll have a big grassy area to spread out on. Of course we never know what the weather will be like this far in advance, so I will be in touch at least a day or two before if it looks like we will need to reschedule, or if there is a sudden change in weather, I’ll email you a few hours before the event (you’ll of course receive a refund or credit if you can’t make the rescheduled time).

Please arrive 10 minutes early to settle in so we can start on time.

About Roger
Roger Tjoelker, founder of Transformative Sound LLC, is a professional gong player based in Seattle, Washington. Formerly a corporate CFO and CIO, he first heard the gong played well at a Transformational Breath® Seminar and instantly knew that he had to learn to play and bring this amazing sound energy to others. He now offers Gong Sound Immersion group events and individual sessions in the Seattle area, and occasionally tours the west coast. Roger uses several gongs and a variety of mallets to provide a full spectrum of transformative sound energy.

“Gongs have opened up new worlds for me to explore and have transformed my life  beyond imagination. They've become part of my spiritual journey. I find that creating  sound energy with Gongs is a wonderful way to promote and enhance the well-being of  all.”
