Coming just a few days after the Aquarius Full Moon, we are entering the waning lunar phase, a potent time for integration, unwinding, and letting go. The energy of this phase supports deep relaxation, quiet reflection, and clearing space for the new month ahead.
This pop-up event begins with a few gentle grounding practices to help you release the week's tension and create openness. As the soothing sounds of Tibetan and crystal singing bowls fill the space, you’ll be guided into a deep state of relaxation through Yoga Nidra, a brief but powerful practice to prepare you for deeper rest and to set an intention for the sound journey. Earth, Moon, and third chakra gongs will clear blockages, calm the mind, and restore balance to your body and spirit.
Various kinds of chimes, a rain stick, and an ocean drum will be used to gently bring you out of the experience. There will be time given at the end to continue to relax or to write down any insights or inspirations.
Whether you’re attending Saturday’s daylong retreat and want a gentle prelude, or you’re simply looking for a peaceful Friday night escape, this immersive experience will leave you feeling refreshed, aligned, and centered.
There will also most likely be at least one intuitive energy worker there to support you in releasing and grounding. The event concludes with tea, sweets, snacks, and community.
With: Ruby Koa
When: Friday, July 31st, 6:30 - 8:00 PM
Where: Red Cedar Zen Community, aka the San-Jui Buddhist Temple, 2509 Cedarwood Ave, Bellingham, WA 98225, USA
This sound bath will primarily be experienced lying down in a relaxed, comfortable position. Thick square and round meditation cushions, some blankets, and silk eye pillows (with optional lavender aromatherapy) will be available to use, but you may want to bring some of your own items for extra comfort. Having something under your head and knees, and a warm covering is key for the most relaxing experience.

Refunds are usually only given when the cancellation is made 24 hours before the event starts as space is limited and we’d like time to contact anyone on the waiting list.
