Kundalini Yoga for the New Beginnings, with Focus & Writing Prompts for the Fool Card
May 17, 2024

This recording is from Ruby's 4.30.24 online Women's Kundalini Yoga class which is held weekly, 9-10:30 am on Tuesdays. Though the sharing part at the end has been cut out, it's still a good example of how a typical class like this will flow, and it's OK for any gender to practice to.
In a typical Women's Kundalini class, I'll usually pick an oracle card in the beginning or read an excerpt from an astrologist about the current moon cycle or other strong astrological influence. This will inform the theme for the class. In this particular class, the Fool Card is picked and expanded upon.
We'll then go through a warm up series followed by a specific kriya (sequence). In this class we'll practice the Kriya for Apana Energy, to help us release so we're ready for the new.
Card of the day: 0-The Fool, from Crowley's Thoth deck: https://www.esotericmeanings.com/thoth-fool-tarot-card-tutorial/

Follow up Questions for Fool card you can either draw additional cards for or write about:
-What is the "tiger of fear" for you?
-How do you imagine the courageous leap into the new?
-What does it look like?
-Where does your heart call you to go?

Affirmation for Fool Card: I now follow my heart. I am open, and am ready to go wherever it may lead me.
